10, 12, 15 or 20 Needles: Which FUJA Version Should You Choose?

FUJA |

Choose needle count by the colors you use often. Choose head count by the items you need to run together. A machine with more needles does not automatically sew more items at once.

Count your normal colors

Look at several likely orders. Count the thread colors in each design, including colors that repeat across customers. Consider whether keeping common colors loaded would reduce setup work.

Do not buy more needles only because one unusual design has many colors. Ask how often that job will occur and whether a thread change is acceptable.

Check the exact FUJA version

FJ 1001 is the 10 needle US warehouse option. FJ 1501CS has 12, 15 and 20 needle versions. The 15 needle version ships from the US for US orders; the 12 and 20 needle versions ship from China.

Confirm the selected version, usable sewing area, included equipment and stock in the order details. Do not assume a feature or attachment from one version applies to every version.

Needles and heads solve different problems

More needles can keep more colors ready. More heads can help with repeated work when the same design runs on several items together. Neither choice removes time spent preparing garments and files.

If you sell individual names and mixed logos, ask how the proposed machine handles different jobs. If you repeat one logo in batches, compare the actual batch workflow before choosing more heads.

Include shipping in the decision

US warehouse pickup is available for FJ 1001 and the 15 needle FJ 1501CS by appointment. Confirm which of the two warehouses can prepare your order.

For a China shipped version, ask for the DDP total and estimated delivery before payment. Do not compare its displayed machine price with a US delivered price until both offers cover the services you need.

Questions Before You Buy

Is the 20 needle version shipped from the US?

No. Under FUJA’s current shipping arrangement, the 12 and 20 needle FJ 1501CS versions ship from China.

Will more needles make every design finish faster?

Needle count alone does not prove shorter sewing time. Compare the actual design, required changes and job preparation.
