What to Include in Your Embroidery Machine Budget

FUJA |

The machine price is only part of your starting budget. Compare the same equipment and delivery services in each offer. Then allow for files, supplies and the costs of preparing your workspace.

Compare the same package

List the model and version in each offer. Record included hoops, cap equipment, stand, tools and any starter supplies. Ask about missing items before comparing prices.

A low headline price may describe a different package. A large accessory photo does not confirm that every item is included. Use the written order details.

Add delivery services you actually need

For FJ 1001 and the 15 needle FJ 1501CS, free standard US warehouse shipping covers the lower 48 states where service is available. Residential delivery, liftgate service, delivery inside and delivery upstairs cost extra.

Machines from China need a quote before payment. FUJA provides the agreed DDP total for delivery to your door, including freight, customs clearance, duties and import taxes. Send the delivery address and all service needs before approving the total.

Budget for the work after delivery

Check whether you need software, file preparation, extra hoops or supplies for the first paid order. Use the confirmed packing list so you do not buy items twice.

Allow for the cost of practice items, sample sewing and your own time. Do not spend the whole budget on the machine if you cannot prepare orders or receive delivery safely.

Keep warranty and paid service separate

FUJA’s machine warranty lasts one year from delivery. For approved warranty parts, FUJA covers replacement shipping, any required failed part return shipping and related import charges.

Remote guidance is available for the life of the machine. If you hire a third party for repair, you pay those fees. Technician visits arranged through FUJA are also paid by the buyer. Confirm the costs before arranging a visit.

Use a simple budget sheet

  • Machine and exact package.
  • Delivery services and any agreed extra fees.
  • Software or file preparation.
  • First order supplies and practice items.
  • Workspace preparation and unloading.
  • Cash needed while orders are still building.

Questions Before You Buy

Does DDP mean I pay import duties again on arrival?

For the machine quote agreed with FUJA, duties and import taxes are included. Make sure your address and requested services match the confirmed quote.

Should I include a fixed monthly payment in my plan?

Only use a payment plan after the available method, eligibility and total cost have been confirmed for your order. Do not assume financing is available.
