Bring the cap you plan to sell to your machine comparison. Cap shape, seams, design size and the cap equipment all affect project fit. Needle count and maximum speed cannot prove that a machine will sew your cap well.
Describe the cap and logo
Send photos of the front, side and inside of the cap. Tell FUJA whether the cap has a firm front, soft front or thick center seam. Include the final logo size and position.
Ask about the usable sewing area for that cap setup. The flat embroidery area is not the cap sewing area. A large flat hoop specification does not answer whether your cap design fits.
Confirm the complete cap setup
Ask whether the exact package includes the cap driver, cap hoop and equipment used to load caps. Check how many cap hoops come with the order and whether extra hoops fit the selected machine.
If you plan to use flat hoops as well, ask to see the change between caps and flat garments. Include that changeover in your order plan. Do not buy an extra attachment from a photo alone.
Ask for a useful demo
An online demo can show how the cap is loaded and where the design sits. Ask whether your actual cap and logo file can be used. If a sample is offered, agree on the item, file and any cost before sending it.
Check the result around seams, small letters and the edges of the design. Ask about preparation and time spent changing caps. A demo on one cap type does not prove every cap will work the same way.
Check the order and support
For orders within the lower 48 states, FJ 1001 and the 15 needle FJ 1501CS are the US warehouse choices. Confirm their cap package and stock before payment.
