Check the design and how the garment reaches the sewing area. A small chest logo, sleeve logo and large hoodie design may need different hoops and access. Choose from the work you plan to sell, not from one broad clothing label.
Compare three real garments
Use a shirt, polo or hoodie from the range you plan to sell. Record the fabric, garment size, design size and placement. Include thick seams, pockets, zips or other parts near the design.
Ask which hoop fits each job and whether the garment can be loaded without blocking movement. Do not use the machine’s largest sewing area as proof that every part of every garment is reachable.
Ask which hoops come with your order
Check the written package list. A chest logo may not need the largest hoop, but a wide design may need one not included in the base order. Confirm usable sewing size, not just the outside hoop dimensions.
If you want magnetic hoops, confirm the exact machine, hoop size and mounting parts. Brand name alone does not prove fit. Standard hoops may already cover your first jobs.
Plan colors and order sizes
Count the colors in your common designs. Then list which jobs repeat and which need different names. More needles can keep common colors ready, while more heads need enough matching work to be useful.
For personalized items, include time for changing names, checking placement and approving files. Do not estimate daily sales from sewing speed alone.
Request a sample that helps you decide
Ask whether FUJA can show your garment type and design placement in an online demo. If you arrange sample sewing, confirm the fabric, file, backing and any cost.
Use the result to compare project fit. Detailed stitch and fabric setup guidance belongs with your model’s technical resources. This buying check should help you choose equipment rather than replace training.
Check your delivery plan

Questions Before You Buy
Do I need magnetic hoops to start selling shirts?
Not always. First check whether the standard hoops fit your early orders. If buying magnetic hoops, verify the size and mounting parts for your model.
Should I choose more heads for custom names?
Compare how the setup handles different files and small orders. Extra heads are most useful when enough matching work can run together.
