Inspect the crate and pallet before signing for a machine. Keep photos and delivery records so any damage can be reviewed.
Before you sign
Walk around the crate and pallet. Look for punctures, crushed corners, water marks, broken pallet boards and loose, shifted or cut straps.
Write any visible damage on the delivery paperwork before you sign. Describe what you can see instead of signing that everything is in good condition and reporting it later.
Photograph all four sides of the crate while it is still on the truck or beside it, with the driver present. Keep the delivery note and any carrier reference.
After delivery
Under the current Shipping Policy, report visible damage within 3 calendar days of delivery. Open the crate and inspect the machine within 5 calendar days. Report damage hidden inside the crate within 5 calendar days of delivery.
Do not wait until installation or the first customer order to inspect it. Keep the crate, pallet and all packaging until the claim is resolved.
What to send FUJA
Include the order number, machine model and serial number, delivery date, carrier reference, and clear photos of the crate and damage. Add a short video when it helps show the problem.
Stop using the machine if continued use could make the damage worse or create a safety risk. Do not send the machine back without approval and an authorised return address.
