Start With Your Orders
Shops rarely run one kind of work. Find the orders that fill your week and see what each one actually demands from the machine
Structured caps in runs of 24 or more with the same logo across every piece
Left chest logos repeated across sizes and reorders that come back month after month
Full back designs and oversized logos that overflow a standard field
Border heavy patches where edge quality decides whether the batch ships
Names and one off pieces that fill the gaps between batch work
Most growing shops run all five. The capacity guide below turns your weekly volume into a head count
Kapazitätsratgeber
Start with your daily volume and how often the same design repeats. These are planning examples, not promised output. Design size, stitch count and handling time change the result.
| Your Daily Volume | Repeat Pattern | Suggested Setup | Why It Fits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Under 20 pieces | Mostly one offs | One single head | Flexibility beats raw speed when every job differs |
| 20 to 60 pieces | Same logo repeats weekly | Two heads | The same design stitches on two pieces in every run |
| 60 to 150 pieces | Team and uniform contracts | Three to four heads | More heads stitch the same design on more pieces per run. |
| Over 150 pieces | Factory contracts | Industrial HQ range | Four to twelve heads built for contract volume |
Example assumptions: an 8000 stitch logo at an average of 1000 SPM needs about 8 minutes of stitching. Allow 2 minutes of loading and unloading per piece, with no overlap. Fifty pieces take about 8.3 hours on one head. Two heads need 25 runs of 8 minutes stitching plus 4 minutes handling, or about 5 hours. Stops and your actual setup can change the result.

Read the guide →Twelve fifteen or twenty needles decided by your color counts not by habit

Every embroidery quote is built from the same five parts. Price all five and the number stops being a guess
Machine time follows stitch count more than design size. Get the count from the file before you quote not after you stitch
Every piece gets loaded and unloaded by hand. On small logos the hooping can cost more time than the stitching
Thread backing and needles per piece are small numbers that quietly eat a batch margin when they go uncounted
Setup spreads across the run. Fifty pieces carry one setup and one file check while five pieces carry the same work ten times over
A rush job displaces scheduled work. Charge for the displacement openly instead of absorbing it silently
Your machine hour has a cost even when you own the machine outright. Wear parts and power belong in every quote

Tools That Save Time
Consistency at volume is a supplies decision before it is a machine setting. Two tables cover most commercial work
| Fabric | Backing |
|---|---|
| Knit polos and tees | Cut away that stays behind the stitches |
| Woven uniforms and shirts | Tear away for a clean inside finish |
| Kappen | Firm cap backing for structured fronts |
| Towels and fleece | Water soluble topping over the loops |
| Jackets and denim | Heavy cut away for dense designs |
| Job | Hoop Choice |
|---|---|
| Left chest logos | Small garment hoops with spares ready |
| Jacket backs | The largest hoop your field allows |
| Kappen | Cap frames on the cap driver |
| Thick bags | Magnetic frames that clamp without screws |
| Sleeves and pockets | Narrow hoops made for tight spaces |
Both tables are starting points for standard work. Test dense or oversized designs on spare fabric before a paid run
Support and Spares
A commercial machine earns only while it runs. This is the support structure behind every FUJA commercial model
FAQ
Still weighing the upgrade. Message the team and get a reply within 6 hours
When the same design repeats every week and your single head runs past your working hours to keep up. One off custom work gains little from a second head because both heads stitch the same design
No. Multi head machines run one design on all heads at the same time and that is exactly what makes batch work fast. Keep a single head beside it for one off pieces and names
Build the quote from stitch count hooping time supplies quantity and any rush displacement. The pricing guide on this page walks through each part with the method we recommend

One trained operator may manage a small multi head machine. The help needed depends on the garment, design, hooping time and target output. Time a sample batch before deciding how many people you need.
